Diverse Seasonal Modes
Seasonal Development System - Season Faction Talent
Under the newly introduced Season Faction Talent system, Magister Merlin can upgrade the Resonance Level to earn Talent Orbs, which can then be used to activate Faction Talents. These talents provide stat boosts for heroes of the same faction, and their effects in battle can be further enhanced through Core Talents. When Magister Merlin deploys three heroes from the same faction, Talent Resonance will grant special boosts to the heroes positioned on the Talent Buff Tiles, thereby enriching the overall battle experience.
New Season Artifacts
The Waves of Intrigue season introduces 10 new Season Artifacts, each possessing unique effects. Magister Merlin can acquire these Season Artifacts through Story Quests, Reputation Quests, and Season Milestone Rewards.
Season Magic Charms
The Season Magic Charm system is making a comeback in the new season. This time, the Magic Charms have more diverse qualities, and they no longer have random affixes.
Hero Reset
The new season also introduces a series of new items: A-Level Swap (Waves), S-Level Swap (Waves), A-Level Swap (Starter), and S-Level Swap (Starter). Magister Merlin can use these items to swap the hero tier and Exclusive Equipment level between two non-Celestial and non-Hypogean heroes of the same rarity. These items can be acquired for free through Season Milestone Quests, enabling Magister Merlin to develop heroes with ease and without concerns.
New Challenges
New Mode - Heroic Gauntlet
The Heroic Gauntlet opens biweekly, with each round featuring multiple stages for Magister Merlin to challenge. By clearing these stages, Magister Merlin can earn abundant rewards and accumulate points to unlock even more rewards! Additionally, if the Magister successfully clears high-difficulty stages in the current round, the low-difficulty stages in the next round will be automatically unlocked, allowing for quicker access to the more challenging stages.
Primal Lord
As Magister Merlin arrives in a new area within Waves of Intrigue, new Primal Lords—Plague Creeper and Crazed Shellbrute—will appear to challenge your prowess.
Explore the Vast World
Sailing
Boats are essential for Magister Merlin's exploration of the Scandia Isles. While sailing across the sea, Magister Merlin may come across floating treasure chests, perilous pirates, or mysterious vortices. Be cautious—if caught in a vortex, there's no telling where you might be swept away to!
Stealth Challenge
Stealth is a crucial skill Magister Merlin must master in the chaotic Rustport. To infiltrate a specific area undetected, Magister Merlin must carefully avoid the patrols, as being spotted will result in failure. However, certain items can be used to distract enemies, creating an opportunity to successfully complete the Stealth Challenge.
Alchemy
To create an item through alchemy, Magister Merlin must carefully follow the formula prompts, adding the correct materials in the precise amounts and order.
